Shape FormingBeing self forming no need of any equipment, so saves transportation cost of bending machine as occurs in GI sheets. Its installation is faster in spite of its slope ratio being on a higher side.
FittingNo need of special equipments like cranes and needs a team of only 3-4 labours results in reduction in labour cost with less time although comparatively it requires more number of self drilling screws for fixing which should not be a big issue.
Light TransmissionBeing transparent Suncool Drainage Sheet allows light transmission, hence gives more light for photosynthesis and causes faster and better crop growth.
TemperatureIt does not absorb heat and so no heat transfer inside greenhouse from gutter portion. As a result temperature is reduced inside the greenhouse. It is especially effective in case of trellising (creeper) crops like tomato, capsicum etc. Although in cool areas,ventilation need to be closed to avoid heat escape.
WeightAs a standard, for 1 acre, 420 meters length is required. Whereas a plastic sheet of 0.6 meter width x 1.4 mm thickness weighs about 350 kgs. This makes it easy to handle, install and transport.
Film StrengthProduced with multilayer co-extrusion process, there are no rusting issues, hence avoids leakages and improves strength and efficiency. It is possible to have jointless lengths, so there are no leakage prone points.
